      In response to the recent issues regarding email reliability, Electric Playground Media will be migrating all email users of A Buyer's Choice to a new email platform on Sunday, December 5, 2010.

      The new email system will not only address reliability issues, but will also provide much more email storage space, more options for how you use your email, and will provide better spam and virus protection.

      Because of the migration, users will need to be fully aware of how to change their email settings and obtain technical support during the migration process.

      This migration is necessary to ensure we are providing you with the best possible email solution. We realize that downtime can have a drastic impact on your business, and we are going to eliminate that downtime possibility for you.

      Please read through this section in it's entirety. It contains important information about features of the new email system and why we chose the service that we did, and it contains important information about the migration process and ensuring the transition is as seamless as possible for you.

      Status Update:

      7:00pm AST - Migration has begun. New accounts are being setup now.

      7:35pm AST - New accounts are setup. Adding domain updates for webmail.abuyerschoice.com

      7:40pm AST - Domain records for primary mail server updated. Waiting for domain propagation to complete. May take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours.

      9:20pm AST - The domain propagation has taken effect locally in the Halifax/Bedford area. This does depend on your local internet service provider, so times may differ from place to place.

      Most users should now be able to access the webmail portal at http://webmail.abuyerschoice.com. If you can't, please try refreshing the page every half hour or so until it comes up for you.

      If you are comfortable changing your email client settings using the instructions provided below, please go ahead and do so now. If you have trouble, please submit a support ticket and we will contact you to assist you.

      Please be patient for support ticket response times. Non-emergency support will be back on staff tomorrow morning to assist with migration related issues.
