Victor and Eduardo saw the A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections system as a great opportunity to introduce home inspections to the South American Market, where home inspections are currently not being performed. They both have extensive expertise in the franchising industry as sales reps for dozens of franchise brands including businesses in the fast food & restaurant, real estate, personal care, and service industries.

We are thrilled to announce the expansion of A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections into Europe with the sale of the Country Master Franchises for Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Mr. Jan Rosak and his executive team at BONUS Group are excellent partners to carry out this mission of bringing A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections to the European market.

BONUS Group is a large player in the real estate industry in Central/Eastern Europe as a Master Franchisor for Century 21 since 2009, based in Prague, Czech Republic. BONUS is also involved with various development and real estate operations in several of the surrounding countries.

A Buyer's Choice Home Inspections Corporate Office now has new digs in Florida! We put on an open house for the local community and invited all the members of the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce. It was a wonderful event with over 60 people in attendance, including the Mayor, Lamar Fisher, who did an official ribbon cutting.

We are very pleased to welcome Master Franchise owners for the State of Colorado, the family partnership led by Margie McGregor, along with her daughter Megen Bailey and her son Tim Bailey.

Margie comes from a 35 year career in the US Air Force, which includes recruiting, logitics as well as obtaining three Masters Degrees. She has lived all over Latin America and Europe during her service. Her husband Gregory Bailey is also a retired Air Force Colonel.

Megen Bailey, being a military child spent many years of her upbringing abroad, principally in England and Italy. She learned to speak Italian while living in Italy, and also developed a passion for fashion and went on to study Fashion Merchandising in New York City.

In January we held a very successful and educational one week Regional Training session, taught by Arne Tjerno from Head Office. Both franchises now have one unit franchise in place and have many more irons in the fire.

The newest inspectors on the BC Team are expanding their services by offering Potable Water Sampling and Analysis to their rural customers. Our local realtors appreciate being able to get both the home inspection and the well water testing done at the same time, from a professional home inspector. We held a training session in our new Pacific Presentation Centre with the technician from Exova Laboratories. We're already seeing some results from that training exercise and our inspectors are now fully prepared with their test kits to deliver this excellent, additional service to home buyers.

We had our very first US Unit training session in Deerfield Beach, Florida in March. The class had 19 participants from all over North America including 7 from Florida. Traditionally our training is held in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Everyone agreed it was very enjoyable to do their practice inspections in the warmth and sun of Florida rather than the cold and snow of Halifax in March! We will continue to hold training in both locations depending on time of year and demand. Our 19 graduates are now all up and running, and we look forward to many success stories as they grow their businesses.

Moira & Paul Green from Fort St. John, BC are the new owners of the franchise territory which includes Fort Nelson, Taylor and Dawson Creek in Northern BC. Paul has an extensive background in renovations and has worked in industrial service & sales. Moira is the Managing Director of the North Peace Airport in Fort St. John. They will put to good work their excellent connections in the local real estate market to build a successful A Buyer's Choice business.

Martin Lafreniere is the new franchisee in County of Le-Haut Richelieu in the Montérégie region of Quebec. Martin earned a certificate in industrial mechanics and spent several years as a production manager within the steel industry. Martin decided to switch gears and take advantage of the great A Buyer's Choice opportunity. We wish you all the best Martin!

Don Smith is Central Florida's newest franchisee. Don will be opening the North Brevard County unit franchise. Don, like most Floridians, moved there to escape the cold winters of Ohio. Don is making a career change from the auto painting business. He owns several rental properties in both Florida and Ohio. We are confident Don's successful rental business experience and personal drive will make him a top producer.
